We'd been looking for ages and coming up dry. Our prior table was too small to have family events, and it really didn't go with the house at all. And we were able to buy locally too.

It would be an interesting post to see how you shop with one in the USA and one in Iraq? Do you go look, take photos, send them to DH, and then make the decision together? It certainly makes your spouse feel included and you, I am sure, are happy that he can participate!
I cannot even imagine how you handle these type of situations, but I think about you. My DH was in the Canadian Air Force, but he was away a lot, but not in areas of conflict!
